1. Apply
Apply and complete a short video call with the Second Story team.
2. Share documents
Share your documents. Our CA can help you with GST registration if you do not have one.
3. List honestly
Once approved, list each piece with clear photos, measurements, a condition grade and every flaw shown.
4. Pack on video
When a piece sells, record one video that shows the item first and then shows it being packed. Dispatch within 3 days.
5. Claim window
The buyer has 2 days after delivery to raise a claim.
6. Payout
After that window closes, your payout follows within 3 working days.
Founding Sellers
The first 15 approved sellers list free of commission while we launch, and we give 30 days' written notice before any fee begins.
Fees
Commission is 12% of the item price per order, with a minimum of ₹30. There are no other fees at launch.

When do I get paid?
When the buyer receives and accepts your item, we release the payment to your payout account. If a buyer raises a claim, the payment stays held while we review.
What if a buyer says it isn't as described?
They raise a claim with details. We review your listing proof (photos, video, measurements) against what they report, and refund the buyer if the item wasn't as described.
Why do I need to verify my identity?
Buyers trust verified sellers more, and it keeps fake accounts out. Verification happens once, after you sign up.
Which items can I sell?
Pre-loved clothing you own, in wearable condition. Counterfeits, replicas, used innerwear and items you can't clearly photograph are not allowed.
Can I be a buyer too?
Yes. Use the same email and password to sign up on the shop side, and you'll have both.
